For the record I’m a “if there’s smoke there’s fire” kind of guy. So I still think there’s something happening (pun intended) and that this news is just horseshit. Ashley’s not taking the Pl to arbitration if there’s no end game for him. What’s the point? So I think (I’ve said this a few times) that the arbitration is still to prove that pcp is not connected. But I reckon there’s a restructured deal. I can’t believe that Ashley would take all these gambles he has done with SB. Unless it suits him. I suppose the flip side is that the deal is dead in the water and that the club is financially strapped to death and that’s why SB has not been sacked. Because we cannot afford it?
You don't need to be under the PL test. Conduct that would be a criminal offence in the UK is enough.
The thing is we know they chopped this guy up and we knew mbs was already listed as chairman. He was on TV only a couple of weeks ago announcing things for pif.. I feel the grounds for separation are still as they were and there must be some or they'd not have taken the case.
It’s the only way that something happens. I quoted a couple of weeks ago that why don’t AS and RB take on the deal themselves. Even if it’s with Ashley. PIF can still do commercial deals that gets them exposure and when everything is sorted they can come in slowly as minority shareholders over time.
