Apparently, they're keeping it in a half decent state and they're going to arrange one farewell game there, once fans are allowed back in.
On another matter loosely connected to this thread I bumped into Thomas Mayer earlier, literally bumped into him as I walked off my drive. Nearly said you must of been **** last night losing to Wigan but saw he was with his lad so just apologised and walked off. He is ****ing tiny. I wonder if I should grass on him eating ice cream lol.
It seems our U23's games are now going to be played at York City's brand new stadium. I'm not sure that will go down any better than having us play at their old one.
Might be a good trip out now and then (once we are allowed of course). Football, retail therapy, drink / meal whatever. I assume we aren't allowed to attend atm?
I don’t know why he hates Ferriby so much. The U23s could have played at Haworth Park, Ionians or any of the other grounds nearby, it’s not like attendance would be an issue.
Whilst John Beale was still at City he and Les had agreed on a deal for U23s to go back to playing at Ferriby. The deal was scrapped before it actually happened (by guess who)
There used to be decent support for the U21's at Ferriby, there's barely anyone watching them anywhere else (under normal circumstances obvs).
They used to get a few at the Fred West Centre on Inglemire Lane when they bothered to let people know a game was actually taking place, I've seen a couple of hundred there two or three times, then again I've seen less then 50 there when hardly anyone knew about the game in the depths of winter. Not forgetting admission to the Fred West was limited to pass holders only with no pay on the gate,
