The influence seems to be his cocktail of prescription drugs for his back problems. He must be a zombie when he goes on the course to play

He should quit. Both driving and golf. He's got nothing left to prove and he's a danger to himself and others.

Condolences to all who have suffered loss during this dreadful pandemic. Posts on other threads suggest many have been affected. I wish people would think about this when they carry on regardless because they don’t perceive that they or their family are at risk. If people weren’t so self-centred these days, we would never have needed a lockdown

Steve Clarke's the favourite, at the moment.
Did a good job with Kilmarnock and got Scotland into the Euros, so it does make some sense, I guess.

Nor the "diversity" of Spurs player hairdos/moustaches. < Spurcat >

    "The space on the terrace"

There was none for the Bolton game (50,000 attendance) .
Scary for a kid like me (got in late and could not get into the Paxton
    at my normal position) .

    Fortunately :

    1. the adults standing around me were decent enough
to push out a bit to lessen the crush on me

    2. we only won 1-0

Thierry Henry has quit as Montreal coach for personal reasons

Presumably the death threats he receives when Montreal fans see he quit to take the Bournemouth job

A lot in a short space of time.

India obviously have plans to make Test matches a form of ODI cricket

The days of allowing the home team to prepare test wickets have been damaged by the ridiculous pitches India prepared after getting thumped on a flat surface. Hump back cricket has arrived.

Modern sport has become infected with the belief that winning is everything.

    It isn't.
