Don't see it happening on a permanent. Best we can hope for is that he continues to play here, injury free. We get promoted and negotiate another year loan.
I've been very impressed at the way he has settled into his role. However, not a hope in hell of signing him permanently.
What we've also got to realise is for some strange reason he's only starting games here as we've got so many out injured, hope how he's played shows Johnson he's probably one of the best defenders we have at the club and should be starting every game either at CB or RB
I’m not sure he will drop out when they all return now that he’s established. He’s a class above and it’s visible. He’s quicker, stronger, more adaptable and reads it better than any of ‘ours’, that’s not a slur on them, he’s a Premier League clubs player after all.
Got to go up to have a shot. The fact we are even debating it after last few years warms the cockles though!
You never know if we get promoted this season, depends what's going on behind the scenes if the set up looks good he may think there's more chance of playing in the Premier with us in a couple of years rather than breaking through into wolves starting line up
Have a feeling there might be a lot to talk about this lad. Looks a very good prospect, one year left on his Wolves contract and a lot of paper talk about premier league and championship clubs after him. Gut feeling, I think we’ll get this lad permanently, been outstanding looking after a defence full of midfielders. Think this is the perfect club for him at this stage in his career, especially if we go up.
history tells us money talks, can you name one of our better players who wasn't lured by money. As much as i personally would love to see him sign i cant see that happen if a premier club comes calling, the only way we could possibly keep him if we get promoted this season, and only Championship clubs come knocking or Wolves wont sell
Absolutely no chance. You are honestly living in a dream world if you think he’s signing on a perm. Wake up.
There would've been no chance of him signing under Donald and Parkinson but there's been a massive shift. We can't know what the atmosphere is, at the club, but we have what looks to be a great set up, momentum and a real plan for the future. Would Sanderson prefer to go to a club like Swansea who'll flip between the PL and Championship, who knows. If we can demonstrate that we mean business we'll attract a better class of player ... ... one way to show that intent would be to sign Sanderson, on a good contract, and put a marker down. Trying hard, and failing to sign him, would at least show the supporters what the club is about. I think we'll give it a real go.
If we go up I think he’ll be here next season, If Willis Is the same player when he comes back, I’d be happy for them two be are ch paring in the championship
I think if we go up we get him. You can see, and hear when he talks, he’s enjoying it here and gets the size of the club. No way if we stay down, but I don’t see that happening right now. Hems improving all the time he’s going to be very, very good.
At least if we go up I think we can get him for another season. They won't think him ready for the top flight but if he's proven himself in this league it would make sense to give him a season in the championship. At that point we'd make sense as he already knows the club, the staff etc and we've obviously got good facilities. I think a permanent deal is unlikely, they'll probably want to tie him down to a contract because it's fairly obvious that he'll have value
