McCann just boils my piss in a way that no manager has done prob since pre Brownie. I mean, Adkins and his best warm up was laughable....Sluts looked like he wanted to cry half the time....Bruce had his dust wor selves down, Pearson was boring as **** in interviews etc. etc. but none of them came close to being the prick that McCann is, ****ing arrogant and stubborn and not shy in chucking players under the bus needlessly. Even tonight, the 2 lads in on loan, Whyte and Crowley were no more ****e than anyone else but as they're new bang, straight under the bus they go, then lads on the bench....I mean we can all see just how **** Scott and Slater are, but to have them sat there watching that shower spazz it around must be draining the last semblance of confidence from them. I just want the prick out.
I do actually agree, I've said a number of times that ultimately formation is irrelevant, it's the style of play that determines how you play and our stand off approach in defence and just get it out wide and hump it into the box style in attack is going to be **** whether we're playing 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 etc.....however different formations can help you play in a different way and can give opposition teams different things to thing about, and oppo teams turn up knowing that we will only ever play 4-3-3 in our one consistent style, so can plan around that, as Ipswich did tonight.
I'd have backed him to put one of his chances away and it's 1-1. He was right too tonight about us limiting their chances - just forgot to mention they limited ours. He's manager to the end of the season regardless of whether he should be so we either wish him success or we don't If we're still in league one at thee end of May then Enob will decide if he stays on. Right or wrong, calling for his head and wishing failure isnt going to achieve anything. I don't like him but I'm pragmatic.
I can't even begin to imagine the amount of mandatory kit changes that would be demanded in today's namby pamby privileged environment??
We don't always play 4 3 3 though. It's often a 4 2 3 1, sometimes a 4 1 2 3 and occasionally recently with our wide players pulled back and Honeyman/Crowley pushing on a 4 4 1 1. Players move, and don't necessarily sit in a box. There's usually a big lad and one of the wide forwards playing off him in the box when a ball comes in though. It's mainly mentality. Not enough experienced leaders on the pitch and not enough leadership in the dugout.
the worst part of that load of **** is nowhere did he give the slightest indication that he thinks his position is under threat
No problem. You would need to get your mods to contact me for that to happen, and I'd be only to happy to. I do try to abide by board politics.
A manager is judged on his ability to motivate .. organise and get results.. this muppet is incapable of any of the afore mentioned .. one plan McCann can fk off and keep fking off until he has fkd off completely .. then just for good measure fk off a little more !
Call for his head all you want. Ain't gonna happen so might as well get behind 'em. I'm no fan of McCant, but I ain't gonna waste my breath howling about it.
