The decision to not cover the fullbacks with experienced actual specialist R and LBs is pure folly and it is costing us very dearly.
Thank God for lockdown. The manager of my dad’s local Co-op is a Leeds fan who worships Bielsa, and always wants to collar my dad and me to talk about football. But as I can’t currently visit my mum and dad, I won’t have to see the ****. It’s an ill wind and all that...
Aye Bednarek has been on toast tonight and honestly I don’t really blame him, it isn’t his fault the club need to play him out of position because they decided 1 (at the time injured) player was enough in that position.
Buying a fullback in the window would have been so much cheaper and easier than watching things fall apart until the only option is to sack Ralph.
I think the dropping heads is inevitable when you’ve only taken 1 point from 24. To turn the corner we need to score early and then build on it. We dominated first 25 mins but had nothing to show for it.
I've no idea how to do it but they simply must address the mental fragility of our team. When we go a goal up we all know it's not enough. When we concede it's practically game over. Leeds have been pretty good but all they've had to do after the first goal is keep turning the screw, knowing that we can't handle it.
Confidence is shot right now. That’s obvious. Bang in one (or both) of the early chances, we win tonight. It’s incredibly fine margins, that we’re falling on the wrong side of (which agreed, is a major worry). But fine margins they are.
How many times have we said that this season? (Maybe not 2 inside 8 mins but you get my point) Happening once or twice or even three times you could say bit of misfortune, this many times there is something wrong, Could be the players, the manager or a combination of both. Personally I think it’s the bottle job weak minded ****s we have playing, but that’s just me
