Enough time had passed to suggest Saints weren't going to take it quickly. You're not going to get away with taking a free kick with the whistle going to the referee's lips.

He blew just after JWP took the kick. Any referee in the world would pull that back.

It’s a shame but the whistle clearly hadn’t gone, he also clearly tried to stop play before Adams took the shot.

Good to see we are testing these things out though, it will work for us at some point.

That one isnt an awful decision but yet another tight call not going our way, we just haven't had any luck lately. Hopefully we are due a gift soon!

 

I guarantee if the shoe was on the other foot, Leeds had taken it quickly and the whistle hadn't been blown you'd all be moaning like ****. It was rightly called back, get over it.

 

JWP is going to score direct from a corner at some point, he’s clearly trying to test the keeper with a few of them.

 

I mean he hadn't blown his whistle so in typically ball-breaking style it is the right call... But Jesus how long did he want to take? Impressive to be able to have a free-kick disallowed for being taken too quickly when it was taken 10 seconds after it was given.
