Greaves will dribble past 6 players, chip the keeper

And then Wilks will smash it in on the line.

Crowley is technically gifted, but he's more of a luxury than Honeyman as I wouldn't say he has the legs to get up and down the field like Honeyman does. Honeyman does the no.10 role while also being box to box.
Crowley is more of a Geovanni/Evandro type, who I think we need to cater for him to play to his strengths. Have him as a number 10 with two defensive minded players behind.

I'd much prefer Coyle over Slater. I think Coyle has all the attributes to cover as a box to box midfielder. Slater can run, but gets breezed passed far too easily.

My 3 man midfield would be Crowley, Jones & Coyle.

Tonight, could be about who's got the stronger straws and powerful lungs for a game of blow football.

Don't disagree with the Crowley evaluation, though you'd play both he and Honeyman as the more advanced of a 3 or as you say a no 10 in a 4-4-1-1.

I agree that we need a solid base in midfield to build from if as expected doc and George are out.

Haven't seen Coyle play in midfield so don't know if he has the positional sense but again I don't disagree that he has at least some of the required attributes.

We're basically picking between Slater, Coyle or Flores for the second deeper midfielder and I think Grant will go with Slater.

Rest of the side picks itself in my view - though he could bring in Whyte for KLP if it's deemed he needs a rest. Could also bring in Whyte for Magennis with Wilks through the middle of its deemed josh needs a rest.

I don't normally have the patience but on the occasion when I have,we've always came out of it very favourably:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Anyway,3 points tonight is a must and it's achievable. We look like being without our best 2 players so the 2 replacements will just have to give their all....I expect anyone who pulls our colours on to do that as a matter of course...UTT!!!

Okay .. now like you lot I've followed City for nearly as long as the the Queen has been sat on her throne .. and if we all know one thing for certain.. its when you least expect us to do something positive we normally pull a rabbit out of the hat. So with my glass promptly half full .. I'm confidently predicting a win for the super Tigers ........

    ........

Okay time for my meds !
