I'm generally a glass half empty guy, however Ipswich will not win tonight irrespective of our problems on or off the pitch, or that we still have Terry as our coach!

    Crowley into midfield.
Start Emmanuel, stick him in there.
    Or move coyle in there.
Or simply bypass the midfield and have Wilksy and KLP running on like Vardy

Any type of win tonight would be a massive bonus, if Doc and Honeyman don’t make it that’s our entire first choice midfield missing, most teams would struggle in this league in the same situation especially when Two of them at least have been our most influential players in the side this season. Just to hope at least one is fit if not who ever comes in has to up their game to get to the standard Honeyman/Doc has shown. Hopefully they will

    Personally I’d play 4-4-2

I’d be tempted to stick Wilks up front with Magennis.

    Ingram

    *Coyle Burke Greaves Elder

    Whyte A Jones Crowley KLP

    Wilks Magennis

    *Coyle or Emmanuel

We're unlikely to change the system, we never do, so Crowley will replace Honeyman and Slater will partner Jones behind them.

I think Slater's the only real wink leak there, we've seen nothing from him so far.

I'm leaving it like that, he's definitely a wink leak.

    I reckon 0-0 tonight.

Now it’s up to the lads to prove me wrong. Really wrong.

If Honeyman and Doc are both out, surely McCann should be looking at this as an opportunity to prove himself tactically to alter things to get the best out of Crowley?

It's his chance to prove it's not just good players papering over the cracks like we saw when we lost Grosicki and Bowen.

If he just goes like for like and sticks Crowley and Slater into the 4-3-3 he's an even bigger fool than I thought.

I think Crowley was brought in as a direct replacement for Honeyman as when we lost Honeyman before he was sorely missed. Problems start when you try to play them both in the same team cos they both want to play the same role.

Similarly Slater is a poor man's docherty, so would you play them both out of position to get the best from them?

Don't think we do pressers for midweek games anymore. Won't hurt to keep the 6 fingered ones guessing til an hour before kickoff...

It's a shame there won't be a crowd there, if he does play. He'd have got a great reception.
