No we’re not, we are football fans and that obviously means we know more than the manager, that’s all. If the manager makes the rights calls and we don’t agree then he was lucky, if he follows what we want and it goes wrong it’s his fault because he listens to the fans. We are not fickle, just bi-polar

It was, but it adds to the spice does it not, and to be fair, the team selection and formation left everyone surprised and not a bit confused, and in the end it bordered on genius, I love thinking outside the box, and credit where its due take a bow LJ.

Another great thread RTB like your thinking on team selection, we all have our favourite players but this line up will be very close to LJ i think i am going for a 3-0 win and i suspect nearly all the games from now will be winners, i really expect in the next 5 games to be in a promotion spot im that confident , just hope im not let down with a bang

TBH mate, when the team is announced half a dozen different people believe he's playing various systems ...

... then he plays an entirely different one that he changes around 60 minutes.

I've just started sitting back enjoying whatever happens.

I've lost count of the number of mad reasons why we shouldn't win particular games but not seen much this time.

We've had 'we always draw 1-1, we can't win at home, we struggle against teams below us, they're on a good run, we can't win back to back games, etc.'

Now we've blown those out of the water we'll have to find something else to jinx us I suppose ...

... how about, 'We never win games against ex-managers this season'.

    Shush... I am superstitious...

Many years ago when I used to play a very low level of Saturday afternoon football, I always had the same lunch tomato soup and I wad in a right state if I lost my lucky tie-ups. Socks seem to stay up on there own nowadays

I've heard Fleetwood have improved since Grayson's come in but the figures are a little skewed tbh.

He's had three of four games at home and lost the away match with only a couple of shots on target.

I've no doubt they'll come to defend and break if they can.

I don't see how we can play Wyke as a lone striker, in this game, as he struggles when he's tightly marked.

It's another job for O'Brien who's becoming a bit of a beast as his confidence grows.

That'll mean McGeady drifting around while the wingbacks stay solid and, sadly, Jones having to come off the bench.

The good news is that Barton won't be spouting off before this game.
    - the bad news is he's got the job at Bristol Rovers (Away on 27th March)

Well done @RTB another fabulous thread. I'm going with a 2-1 win (Wyke (again), Scowen)).

    6-1. Total annihilation. Gucchi x 2, Charlie x 2, Max x 1 & AOB.

PS, I would settle for another boring 1-0 though.

    HA'WWWWWWAY
    THE LADS

    MACKEMS ATTACKEM

Poor old Grayson still churning out waffle.
Although Fleetwood have got themselves a better manager than that last sack of shìt.

Johnson really is like night and day professionally and character wise.
Hopefully we keep up the pressure on the top teams.
We do look like getting into our stride now and improvements are clearly showing.

The club is going from Kwik save under Donald to Harrods under Dreyfus.

Lee Johnson has confirmed that the centre back is expected to miss three weeks in total, starting from last week’s Papa John’s Trophy victory over Lincoln City.
Tom Flanagan is also likely to miss Tuesday’s match-up against the Cod Army, but like Ross Stewart and Benji Kimpioka, the defender is making progress.
Speaking to safc.com, Johnson provided an update from the treatment room.
“Bailey is probably looking at three weeks from last Wednesday, so that’s his point of return,” explained the head coach.
“Flanno has been joining in gently – under no pressure and without chaos – just in straight lines and passing drills, but we hope to get him back as quickly as possible.”
He continued: “I’m sure Ross will almost be feeling like the forgotten man because as a new player, you want to come into a club and hit the ground running.
“He’s back out there running and he’s moving again, but whilst we have strikers in form, we can afford to take our time.
“We also have Benji Kimpioka back in and about it, and it’s been nice to see him because he’s a player I didn’t know an awful lot about until I came into the building.
“Everybody speaks well of him and it’s good to get another young player in the squad, but he needs to tick the boxes – and minutes – because it was a big injury, so at the moment we are just allowing him to progress at his own pace.”
