How desperate are some people to throw mud? Given the number of people they meet, and the limited numbers involved in such areas of work, it'd be more odd if there wasn't some tenuous link to a friend of a friend, or distant relative. <doh>

Mr Bourne said that he has yet to be contacted about the investigation by the MHRA.

“We speak to the MHRA on a weekly basis as a company, and they haven’t mentioned anything”. he said.

Mr Bourne admitted that he had offered his services to Mr Hancock in a personal WhatsApp message prior to receiving the contract.

However, he denied that the message led to the contract. Instead, he said that the Health Secretary told him to apply via the Government’s website. Mr Hancock has previously denied having anything to do with the contract.

Most pubs have loads of photos with customers stood near a landlord, especially if the regular is in the public eye. To some, that makes them bosom buddies. <doh>

It's quite sad to see how desperate some people are to make these massive jumps, when there are far more significant issues to be looked at.

No chance of us being back in the KCOM this season.

Disappointed to see shops remaining closed until April 12th, I'd hoped we'd see them opening in the second half of March.

Can you cancel by email or does it need a written letter and has anyone got either address please ?

Very disappointing by time next season comes Johnson as just said they reserve the right to impose regional restrictions and measures and you can bet your bottom dollar Sage will be pushing for something, Vallance as already being spouting off today about measures going into next year, a bleak future still for live sports.

    Step 1 Part 1
    March 9

    • All students to schools and colleges and wraparound childcare - eg. after schools clubs, school sports - can resume.
    • Also allowing for recreation when 1+1 people (2 max) meet in a public space. (Already allowed for exercise only.)
    • Care home residents will be allowed one regular named visitor.
    • Stay at home order will remain in place.
    Step 1 Part 2
    March 29

    • Outdoor gatherings of either six people or a larger group from up to two households will be allowed. This includes meetings in private gardens. Timed with school Easter holidays.
    • Outdoor sports facilities - tennis and basketball courts - can reopen and people take part in “formally organised” outdoor sports, both children and adults.
    • Stay at home order will end at this point and will move to messaging encouraging people to stay local wherever they can.
    • Still asking people to work from home wherever possible and there won’t be any overseas travel allowed apart from exemptions.
