Just seen the elbow on Lascelles. Which was a red card offence and we should have had a penalty. And the one against us was so soft.
it was shocking I mentioned it at the time It now seems we have selective VAR reviewing now juding by all the incidents over the weekend
I think this has been going on for years people used to mock me when I kept pointing out the standard of referees is shockingly bad this with Var only emphasises the hold the premier 6 have over the League and the PGMOL
watched the game last night and it appeared to me that Bruce had his players motivated., however no matter how much planning and attention to detail is involved there are two elements of the game for which he has no control, once the players are on the pitch. One: you cannot legislate for individual errors, and secondly poor refereeing - and to that extent you suffered on both counts. As for the game, such was the desire to impress that your players seemed to forget that a game lasts for 90 minutes. The pace and intensity you showed in the first 45 when you were clearly the better side was unsustainable for the whole game and so it proved, as for the last quarter you were running on empty. It is a shame that your 'keeper seemed to be at fault of two of the goals, and that the ref was fooled by Rashford's exaggerated dive for the penalty, otherwise you may have got something. One other point - don't get fixated by the perceived battle with us for the 18th spot, there are other sides in the mix, from Southampton and below. It ain't over yet!
Fair comments - and it just goes to show the agenda, when you'd think it was between us and Fulham as if Brighton and Burnley were 10 points clear. Everybody in the media is willing us to fail, just like nobody is saying two words about West Ham, Leicester are just 'annoying', etc. Meanwhile Man City's billions are boring their way to the title (yet again). Not a lot of attention about top four because two clubs are there that the "big 6" don't want. ****ing league is an absolute sham.
It felt over for us when Steve Bruce took over because we all knew what direction he was going to take us.
We need to be careful not to get sucked in to all the negativity around the PL. I don't think for a minute that there is a conspiracy. It's just that referees make mistakes and always have. We've had lucky escapes this season and in the past so ultimately it's all swings and roundabouts. I'm quite relaxed and philosophical about things. Chill.
but Albert how can you make a mistake when VAR is there to correct the Mistake by the Ref are you saying that both referee and Var made the same mistake whilst million of viewers can see it replayed ?? I don't get swings and roundabouts VAR is there to stop that and does this convince you any more that Mike Riley (head of the PGMOL) is a confirmed Man Utd fan
VAR isn't perfect at all either mate as you have humans controlling that too and yes, two seperate entities can make the same mistake too. I don't think for a minute that the PL and the Refs sit round a table and plan out how they are going to still non cartel clubs. The arses of the cartel must be going like a rabbits note right now as Leicester and West Ham make a run on the top 4. That's the highlight for me of the remaining part of the season.... watching cartel clubs fail to get into the CL.
I mean the fact there was no enquiry into these comments from the FA is unbelievable. What's telling is that he was not taken to court for slander...
You cant take someone to court for slander if it is true They would face some very awkward questions so there theory is to say nowt and in time it might go away As we have seen with the takeover
