On a real I’d probably take a decent cash plus Matic offer for Hojbjerg though. Guy’s been quality but we got Skipp back in the summer and seeing as we’re finishing 13th this season we'll be needing some dough for transfers and Jose’s pay off like.

Standards obviously have to be stupidly high to get anywhere near City but 49 points from 25 games for United is pretty meh if that rate continues for the whole season.

If they win the Europa and finish second albeit miles behind City it’ll probably be deemed a semi-successful season but they shouldn’t be in the Europa in the first place. Don’t think he can complain at the end of the season even in that scenario if they decide to go with someone else but doubt that would happen.
