Delighted with that. Did it from a reasonably steady pace too which I wasn't happy with early on, but he ground down Fury Road in the last 100 yards. A small R4 with two non runners but great to get the winner. Good ride by Flanagan and this horse is going to be a major factor is the bigger staying races for years to come, very imposing animal.

Just had to fix a friends bike but managed to watch Sceau Royal win - brilliant. A speed horse beats a stayer over 2 miles
Bit disappointed with Mr Coffey there and don't think ride was the best although he wouldn't of won. Kept right out the back then at the last nico decides to go from the inside to the outside.. lost some lengths pulling off that manoeuvre..
It will have put him straight for Cheltenham I suppose but he hardly goes there "battle-hardened". Do we even know what race he is going for? Gold Cup I suppose.
oh dear , awful , Dhahran ran a strange race , looked to be tailing off then flew home to finish third , albeit well behind the winner , who was impressive , Dhahran needs a stiffer course longer trip , but money only lent
