Delighted with that. Did it from a reasonably steady pace too which I wasn't happy with early on, but he ground down Fury Road in the last 100 yards. A small R4 with two non runners but great to get the winner. Good ride by Flanagan and this horse is going to be a major factor is the bigger staying races for years to come, very imposing animal.

I know he fell last time, but what a delight it is to watch Sceau Royal's jumping. Disappointed at the price, but a win is a win!

Mick Maestro next at MR :)

Can't win 'em all though! MM beaten by by a couple who were better handicapped .

Lightly Squeeze ew 6 places in the last telly race :)

Edit: as I'm up on the day, a small ew on Thyme White 25-1 with a boost, 6 places.

    Good luck all :)

Just had to fix a friends bike but managed to watch Sceau Royal win - brilliant. A speed horse beats a stayer over 2 miles <ok>

Bit disappointed with Mr Coffey there and don't think ride was the best although he wouldn't of won. Kept right out the back then at the last nico decides to go from the inside to the outside.. lost some lengths pulling off that manoeuvre.. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

It will have put him straight for Cheltenham I suppose but he hardly goes there "battle-hardened". Do we even know what race he is going for? Gold Cup I suppose.

oh dear , awful , Dhahran ran a strange race , looked to be tailing off then flew home to finish third , albeit well behind the winner , who was impressive , Dhahran needs a stiffer course longer trip , but money only lent
