Next 5 games will either see us safe for another season or....

Yeh let's not go there just yet, but we need to start picking up points again.

That 5th game is against Fulham by the way, who thankfully have a tough run of fixtures coming up. By the time we play them the 10 point gap should have increased and we can go down to London with confidence high and looking to confirm our top flight status <ok>

April sees us play Liverpool, City and Manchester Utd. We could do with a few points before that.

And if we by a miracle of Santa Maria and all her sacred virgins got him, knowing our luck he would either have a barren spell of Gobi desert proportions or snap both cruciate ligaments coming out of radz's office:emoticon-0140-rofl:

That's why the next 5 are crucial.

No fecking about with Roberts & Shackleton or blooding the youngsters.

Just read a good piece from Asene Wenger who stated what many of us feel about the Leeds team. In summary he said Bielsa is refusing to change his beliefs and tactics and right now is taking a gamble. He has a philosophy and he sticks to it, but for it to work properly, a team needs to have some better players. Some of the players come unstuck at times and that impacts the whole team and they can leave themselves open. When it works Bielsa’s team can devastate any team, so if Leeds can survive they must add some more quality which will improve the team and the results.

So as Jammy has just said we need to start picking up points again because I reckon that 3rd from bottom relegation place is still up for grabs. 10 points is soon chalked off in this league. Having only had 2 draws all season I suspect we will be getting a few more before too long but every point counts. I also believe we will take a few more scalps this season too

I'd just like us to stick with a setteld back four until we're safe from relegation.

Ayling, Struijk, Cooper & Dallas would be my preference.

Anyone coming back from injury like Llorente or Koch will then be excellent cover from the bench and can also cover the defensive midfield role. Bielsa might even consider playing an extra defender against a couple of the big boys just to try it out for next season.

Hopefully Kalvin is back for Tuesday and Rodders as well.

whoever is in,and i agree with the back four at the moment(make sure llorente is proper fit before a full 90 yet) they musn't lose again we need to stop this mini rot and get at least a point...losing is a bad habit to shake off once you are in a spiral...so let's get at em

So the team in 2nd place we battered and the team in 8th place we also battered. The top of the league we tan close for a draw and the team in 7th we beat, the team in 6th we almost beat and they are league and world champions. Its not all bad folks and Im guessing with 3 more top players we will not be far off being well inside the top 10 next season

I know what you are saying, and sure everyone is chuffed how well we are doing this season, but the worrying thing is the last 2 games have been against teams below us and we have lost both. Let's hope this run ends Tuesday.

You cannot make this shyt up.

Pep Clotet takes the managers job at Brecia who happens to be owned by Cellino. Pep kicks off with an official and gets sent off to the stands and fkg Cellino comes down and takes over in the dug out <laugh>

Agree in some ways but reality hurts in this league. Lets face facts Arsenal have a lot of players that are better than ours and in reality are a top 6 team. Wolves have been great until recent off field problems and again have more good players than we do and are a certain mid to top half team. We have just come up and on our day can beat anyone. The worst result of the season in reality was losing to Brighton as we have to beat everyone who is really below us, as teams like Arse and Wolves are naturally above us

It's hard not to look a little wistfully at the Top 4 and think with a couple of extra wins we'd have been right up there. But then you look over your shoulder at the teams below and think, hang on a minute we could have been bang in trouble with a couple more defeats.

So much better than being in the Championship that's for sure <ok>

Struggling to make my mind up if Southampton are really a worse team than us and therefore a team who should be below us in the league. Danny Ings England striker and Che Adams a player Bielsa wanted to sign is bound to make us eat shyt, Walker Peters, Bertrand and Ward Prowse all England players. Walcott, Minimino Armstrong, Redmond..

they seem to have a lot of Internationals so lets be realistic guys, we need to hope Bielsa has a plan to stop them and hurt them. Southampton are another team who are in a false position

When you put it like that, yes they are in a false position they have a nucleus of very good players.....but who'd have expected Liverpool to be down where they are with those superstars.....as you say el loco needs to concoct some formula to get the 3 points from Herr hassenhutl... let's hope the saint's don't go marching in

Man City battering Arsenal but haven't put the game to bed yet.

    Currently 1-0 to City.

Important because we can go back above Arsenal with a win on Tuesday.

Thing is, everyone above us is there on merit...apart from maybe Villa who have over achieved a little.

Southampton, Wolves & Arsenal are where they are because the top half of the PL is probably more competitive than it's ever been. That's why us coming up was a good thing for the PL as it added another strong club to further raise the standards.

Agreed and for the first time in years its like I dint really care about the results any more this season. Yes Im still angry about Wolves but I look at the table and I cannot see us dropping out of this league. So for the first time in years I feel comfortable if that makes sense, instead of sleepless nights on Fridays, cold sweats on Saturday mornings and sheer frustration and anger in Sundays after a bad performance. Bielsa arrived sat on a bucket and said chill guys I got this, and he has
