Whilst agreeing it is unbelievable anybody know how much this costs sending stuff to Mars etc? My thoughts could these monies not be better spent on this planet helping the hungry, the homeless etc?
This is usually offset in the long term by the technological advances made from projects like this. What I do disagree with is the constant launch of satellites for all kinds of unnecessary reasons. If countries were more cooperative they could share these which could have reduced the numbers massively.
