They've nearly looked dangerous on a couple of occasions but haven't actually been so. Few times we looked very confident in our passing and moving in a way which I've not seen a lot of for a while. Being hyper-critical a couple of times we've had good looking moves break down a little too easily but it looks far more likely we'll create more if we keep at it. I'd maybe bring Diamond on for Vokins later on and swap Gooch to the left. Vokins hasn't done anything wrong today as such but he's giving us very little going forwards and we could score a few more if we have a go. Gooch is playing very well on the right and while I don't like to see players move who are doing just that I feel Diamond on the right and him on the left could cause them more problems than what we currently have.
I agree but they've just beaten Hull so we can't let them back in or the whole thing changes. Incidentally I feel I should mark this moment for posterity. Sadly I'm watching this game alone and, after 3 days solid drinking, let out the Bohemian Rhapsody of farts. I was laughing so hard I didn't have the chance to get my phone out to record it, Mrs Smug is by the pool and I'm not on the house CCTV. So it's gone unrecorded, unwitnessed and lost to posterity ... ... as Confucius once famously said, 'If you fart alone and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?' A happy day but a certain poignancy for your erstwhile correspondent
3 at the back suits us atm., in fact even when Hume is back I would stick with it and play Hume in mid-field, some clubs revert to 4 centre backs if they need to defend and we could do this easily with O/9 on the field. I am a bit worried at the moment about us going down to 10 men and loosing another defender for the next game, other than that we should cruise this game and collect the 3 precious points.
I thought that and at times it's gone against us through over confidence. I love watching the one touch football but at times the players need to have a quick look round to see if it's viable. There's s few times they've done it and the balls gone straight to a Burton player. The only slight complaint I have about the first half
