We're too slow bringing it out and by tlhe time we get nesr their box they're set. Ayling isn't getting forward as much as he should be. Shackleton has a lot of energy, he's getting stuck in and making himself available but he's not going to pick the passes Philips does. I think we look more solid at the back. Roberts is putting a shift in. Hopefully we'll see Gelhardt in the 2nd half. Maybe Llorente will get a few minutes too. Wolves are up for it, let's hope they tire
Evenly matched first half. Good to see meslier playing well, coming for crosses... and not dicking around in possession!
Leeds have been very sloppy so far. Roberts looks to be having one of his good days but he still lacks the midfield intelligence. Doesn't seem to read the game and switches off. We need to get Bamford in the game. Harrison is trying but not really influencing the game. Klich looks off it again. Meslier has been outstanding as has Cooper with Struijk not far behind. Shackleton has done well but has to believe in himself a bit more. There were two or three 40 yard switch passes on that half and he saw them but turned and gave it to the CB. He is more than capable of hitting them.
boy your hard to please mate but i guess everyone sees it different i suppose for me the passing was great, the attacking and defending a joy to watch there are not a lot of teams that can do us over on this performance, the only improvement i can see would be to give Bamford more support
Although not in front, thoroughly enjoyed that half, Meslier looked a lot more assured and no faffing about trying to dribble the ball past attackers, seemed to have learnt from the Arsenal game. overall a good performance, think we might just pinch this one 1-0.
Actually think Lucy ward has been alright as a pundit. My understanding at the club was that she was mainly responsible for looking after the academy lads, was really popular with them. Jeez they needed looking after with Cellino at the club.
