I don't see why it is. They have more points per game than us! Let's hope their poor recent run continues. We need it to.
Well, I'm not saying that! They've had 3 tough games Accrington, Sunderland, Fleetwood ..... then Oxford and Lincoln (which they won) before that. All in very quick succession.
Funny how that works, form team beats out of form team. Unless one of the teams has a reversal of form due to injuries, management tactical issues/cock-ups or transfers of key players. Or a **** pitch due to bad weather or referee incompetence. At least we've seen crowd attendance is an irrelevant variable. All due to COVID perhaps?
Similar to Sunderland, they have only lost 5 games, but drawn 11, against our 9 loses and 4 draws. I've got a feeling they might be the dark horse which may creep up and get promotion. I guess TWT.
I always saw a bit if class in Ghilas like you say he didn't get a decent run to show it. Apparently just 13 appearances with 1 goal.
His agent fee was a bit naughty from what I heard. Way too high and linked to Duffen at the time. Think got investigated.
Ghilas linked up brilliantly with Altidore to get us a much needed win against Bolton, but bizarrely, they weren't played together in the following games.
It was odd, as they were on fire that day. Tore Bolton apart. With Geo behind them, it looked like we had discovered a magical winning formula.
