The scary thing is tonight is not the first time I've moaned and we've scored almost straight after. Clearly I need to do it more often.
Seems there were some later - I've been corrected. Chillo's was the last one I remember. He scored 11 hat-tricks for City between Oct '60 & Jan '71 ( 2 of them were 4 goal efforts.) 1 was away @ Brentford in Oct '64.
When did we last win 5-0 away from home in the league ? He's probably looking that up now. He'll learn something then.
he did, but it was at bp. six. he also had two hat-tricks. that was nearly all the goals he got for us*. * not really true, but they accounted for a lot of them. the 6 against whitby included goals in all four periods of the match, which must be a massively rare occurrence.
Interesting stat about goals scored during McCann's tenure: 55 goals in 44 home games 72 goals in 46 away games He clearly likes us to be more attacking away from home.
From memory, Akpom's goals were two tap-ins from a foot out and one where he tripped over and it deflected in off his shin.
I sure don't want to piss on your drinking masterplan nor nothing, Den, but claiming five thirty as an evening kickoff is venturing into the 'it's five o'clock somewhere' territory. However, to be fair, it sounds like that horse sailed a long time ago.
a few years ago we scored 5 in consecutive aways - one was 5-0, the other was 5-5. Championship Tu 10Apr 2018 Burton 0 - 5 Hull Championship Sa 14Apr 2018 Hull 0 - 1 Sheff Wed Championship Sa 21Apr 2018 Bristol C 5 - 5 Hull in the win against burton, hope akpan, martin samuelson, and steven bywater played for burton.
Pleased for the Lads and us lot but Wilks is a greedy bastard and McCann survives for another week or so.
