My annoyance comes from the fact that I saw a spine specialist at a private hospital. I went to the hospital for the appointment and he didn't examine me just said I needed an MRI. 12 week wait. He then suggested to my gp that I be referred to the same hospital to the hip specialist. My gp did this and I was given an appointment at the hospital this morning. I got a letter from the hospital last week to say it would be a telephone appointment instead. 10 minutes on the phone with the specialist and he wants to examine me in person so I will be getting an appointment to go to the hospital in the next month . Piss up in brewery comes to mind
Also having to support the 1,300,000 (rising daily) illegal immigrants infesting our Country will not help
I sent an e mail this morning to the hospital detailing what I was unhappy about. I have just been called by them to apologise and she has amazingly managed to find me a physical appointment for this Thursday. She has also told me to expect a call from the head of the radiology department to discuss the timing of my MRI. I guess it pays to complain.
Good day all, especially Ell, great post giving lots to discuss and give our points of view etc. Hernandez has p1ssed on his chips, you cannot get subbed and give the manager a mouthful of abuse, did a great job for us, no question about that, but he got paid well also and looked after handsomely, as for becoming a Leeds legend..... was good but not a legend sorry, so its adios amigo as they say. Bielsa's team selection on Sunday was criticised prior to kick off by quite a few stalwarts on here, yes he does know football inside out, BUT square pegs in a round hole wont work, if i was an U23 player who plays the role Philips plays and was not pulled into the squad and training prior to the game then i would be disappointed, IF they are not good enough, get rid now or pull Jackson in and ask why they are not improving............please don't respond that they are too young, Sako at 18 is a prime example. Will Amigo be here in 2-3 yrs time? doubt it, maybe one more season, replacement for him, well i stated Arteta last week would do nicely in my eyes. Chapmen's comments on Bamford to get tough, go around and put your foot in etc. and some comments about him putting some of them headers away, yes he did and if he missed them headers he certainly didnt miss dropping the nut on Leslie Ash, in other words Chapmen go do one and make silly comments elsewhere.
Well on a sad note lets hope Kalvin Phillips Gran gets better as she is unwell at the moment and the club have sent the family best wishes. Probably best to keep our personal views on anything not related to the thread or football, out of this thread. As we know what’ll happen apologies for sending the hare running
Afternoon all. Pablo is unhappy at not getting game time. That's a good thing unlike many other players on huge wage packets getting splinters in their arses. I would hate him to be happy he's not playing but rather than complain he should be busting a gut to make himself a first choice. He either isn't doing that or he's just not good enough. As has been said, Chapman played a different game. I can't think of any bruising, putting themselves about, strikers nowadays. At least not regular starters who have scored and contributed as much as Paddy. The striker role isn't what it was, a team can't carry a player just to score goals. As Bamford said, he's the first defender.
As I said before it is a personal choice as to whether you prefer today's or past versions....I prefer the past one, a mixture of skill and bravery....you are certainly right as to the strikers comment! Don't dwell on the past they say,but why ever not if it brings back fabulous memories
Bear in mind that when you're dribbling in an hospital or care home, that's the very people that will be looking after you. They generally do work that we wouldn't touch, but among them there are skilled surgeons etc., simply evacuating places like Syria to keep their family safe. As you would do too in their situation, one would hope. And they are only classed as 'illegal' until they are granted access, or sent back to their country to die, effectively. It's not a well known fact, but when the mass evacuation from Syria started bigstyle, Germany announced that they wanted, repeat WANTED, 800,000 of them, Why? Essential for growing their economy. Of course, there were humanitarian reasons too. It's clear that 'illegal' immigrants have a value when viewed from a purely financial standpoint. If you listen to the EDL, NF & their ilk, they are simply **** on our shoe, without realising the irony that the EDL etc. are considered to be **** on our shoe.
Can someone actually tell me what Pablo's quote actually means? No kidding, I really don't understand the meaning of it, far less the nuances. I know Bielsa used it too, but did he use it in the same context? Is he simply saying that sometimes everything seems to be against you, but you have to suck it up, move on, & hope? I don't believe that Bielsa has chopped Pablo. Not if he's still getting on the bench. Why would he waste a space on the bench with someone he wasn't going to pick (given the right circumstances)? If the fallout is as bad as some suggest, Pablo would be training with the kids until he left. He isn't. Unless this quote by Pablo means something very specific in a 'downer' manner, I really cannot see any evidence of a rift between the two. Bielsa is working towards the future. Pablo will shortly be the past, in playing terms, if not already. Much as I love Pablo, I would personally prefer to try out our youngsters than him, moving forward. Unless of course, we're in the deep doodoo & need him to dig us out. I'm not sure he can in the PL, tbh.
I think Chapman wants Bamford to become a narky little ****er like Ashley Ward but our Paddy has too much class for that. As for Bielsa, has anyone wondered why he's been 65 for about 4 years now?
