What’s everyone’s answer? One of mine is when he came on for England v Scotland and scored as a saints player.
Mine was the hat-trick he scored at Millwall, including 2 pens in the last 10 minutes of the game to win the match 3-2. I was at that game and it will stay with me forever. Winding up the Millwall fans was hilarious as well.
All his goals without exception, of course, but as well as being a striker he was very creative. One of my favourite moments was the 60 yard ball he pinged to Jay Rod against Fulham, from just outside our box to the corner of theirs.

An to think the people that didn't really know how good a provider he was rather than just a scorer used to compare him to Andy Carroll, and say that Carroll should get in the England team before Ricky!!!!! Honestly idiots
Yeah Rickie and Grant Holt were basically the same striker according to the media, just a lump up front that could score a goal. Rickie was our talisman. Such a fantastic player, such a deadly goalscorer and at the same time a normal down to earth guy who just loved playing football and scoring goals. SRL. He took us to the Premier League
