Amazing way to deliver the most astonishing news on football at that time. Little old Southampton sign the European Footballer of the Year. Come on Ralph get on the blower to the current balon d’or winner please.
They wouldn’t have bought Ollie Watkins, and probably wouldn’t have hung onto Grealish either, so mid-table Championship I’d guess.
That’s exactly what I think, Chilcs. Reckon Mings and, possibly, Matty T would be at “bigger clubs” too ..... so so lucky ......
Just been talking to my Sunderland mate who phoned me up to give me a load of abuse about dumping a useless full back on them. Not going well for Jake apparently. Sunderland website less than complimentary. Imminent return?
I see Rhadi Jaidi has "formally" left SFC! Anyone know what happened there? I seem to recal some controvercy in USA (clipped a lad round the ear)? Always liked him, one of the last of the league 1 team
Ok, we all need cheering up a bit and remember a time when we really did threaten to win trophies in the best season in the club's history...enjoy! https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured/southampton-1983-84-the-dell-boys-nearly-millionaires-part-one https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured...dell-boys-nearly-became-millionaires-part-two https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured...ll-boys-nearly-became-millionaires-part-three

How did Sky miss out on broadcasting the FA Cup this season, when I actually have it for the first time in decades? I watch BT via IPTV but if my internet is having a bad day, I can have buffering issues with the BT stream, although I can usually find an alternative on IPTV.
Sky have never had the FA Cup. Or they haven't in the time I've been watching football. The good news is ITV is replacing BT Sport from next season so it will be entirely on free-to-air TV.
