All of a sudden I'm more concerned about staying up... I fear the greenlight then Relegation might be how this all ends..
https://www.themag.co.uk/2021/02/bi...ulham-win-and-other-results-newcastle-united/ As I said. Yesterday’s game was critical.
@Geordieginola Tbh we will get beat tonight, so the best and most realistic thing we can hope for is that Burnley beat Fulham on Wednesday. The same applies at the weekend... We need shed united to get something because we won't at old Trafford
Agreed if you add now between is and tonight. Last nights result is massive in the context of things.
It’s mental that the games that are important are not our own. We have to rely on others to fail. We know we will.
Not really it's standard.. At bottom you lose more than you win, so you need to rely on the other clubs losing We need to hope Fulham keep losing, but they're actually getting better and better.... We were getting better too but unfortunately I feel we've lost key players and will have a difficult 8 weeks. We need to hope Joelinton or gayle have a good run of form.... Hopefully max almiron and willock cause problems on the counter
Imagine having to rely on Joelinton. Gayle isn’t as mobile. Different type of player. Tonight we can just go for it as it’s like a free hit.
You agreed with GG that last nights game was THE most important game in our existence that’s how this all started.
I think Chelsea will dominate the ball and pick us apart... They'll give nothing away. I don't think we have a cb that can plat the ball or a right back that's fast enough or good on the ball and it'll lead to us having to hoof it... I think we might offer a threat on the counter, but no Wilson is a big deal.. I dunno I might even have gone with Carroll cos he can hold it up, but he's been useless for years now... Gayle is probably the way to go, but that would mean we have not one player that can hold it up, so if we're as I suspect reduced to hoofing it out from the back it'll just keep coming back again and again and again.. Essentially If Joelinton or Carroll starts I can understand why it's not gayle, but not many will
It tilts the table. Towards relegation. And if relegated. No takeover. Hence why last nights game was the most important.
Actually we went on the offensive because you can’t remember what you are talking about and try to change tack when it’s pointed out.
Trying to sound very considered but saying you will eat your own s*** if we get anything from these two games may well be likely but is also negative which is what I said. You also overreacted to last nights game agreeing that it was the most important in our existence which it clearly wasn’t and didn’t like having that pointed out as the nonsense it was.
Possibly important but we won’t know if it was critical until the end of the season at which time if relegated plenty other games will be viewed as equally critical.
