I wonder how much of this is down to Johnson.

    Seriously, I do.

If he can improve everyone, by the same degree, we'd be unstoppable.

He looks a completely different player doesn’t he. Last season,if he got the ball and went through on goal, I’d have been maximum of 10% on him scoring. Now I think he’s going to score every game. Even when he’s not playing well

Anything can happen in L1 after this weekend, and it probably will, if we can keep our key players, and just as important our shape with three in the middle in regular action , we are in with a real chance, not just to make the play-offs, but to get into that top 2
Peoples opinions vary, but the players I rate as key are Bailey-Wright, Sanderson, O/9, Scowen, McGeady and Wyke.
Using these six and a bench second to none in this league we can do it. OaU

Agreed, It is difficult to predict any result in this league.

Does anyone know what has happened to Chris Maguire?
    - missing without any action.

He knows his stats will make him look poor, the game has left him behind.

Scowen and O’Nien both work hard , not frightened of hard tackling , full of running , must be a nightmare for the opposition players . Both of them have to be in the team , seems like the gap between our midfield and attack has suddenly closed - at last , the emphasis on going forward is a refreshing change . The opposition should now be the team to worry for a change , we spent to much time worrying about the opposition under previous management when realistically we have a squad of players that are probably the equal or better than any other team in EFL1. Now the team need to go out and prove it !!!

His stats rate him in the top 5 for most categories, but under LJ he has only started 1 game (Wigan) and has been on the bench for the other games, he didn't even make the bench on Saturday.

Surely if LJ can work his magic on Wyke, O'Brien & McGeady - why not Maguire?

I quite like Maguire but if LJ does not put him in the side so be it , after Saturdays performance that has to be the template it’s up to Maguire to grasp the opportunity if and when it presents itself as sometimes games seem to pass him by . Their is a player in there but he needs to show it on a consistent basis .

Yeah as long as the team is winning it isn't a problem but he can change games as he creates chances and scores goals.

For what its worth I have never rated Maguire and am on the fence about Gooch, they have played to many games for me in which they been anonymous or even worse a hinderance.
