I actually feel badly for this team... A team of young lads at the start hopefully of a successful career being coached by an inept, boring, uninspiring prick. Some will have wasted 3 years being suppressed instead of advanced by him and his useless assistant. Theres something caller 'earning the right' neither have earned the right to impose anything on them. There will be teams already circling for some of them, the ones we can all see. We all know I think that under another leader, we would be a team, a proper team at this level and maybe as with other teams who have got out of this division (eg Luton) at a higher level without spending a fortune... Unfortunately Boy Blunder sees differently or as the joke goes the manager his holding aces or the pictures.

The fact that he said that he didn’t make more changes as we needed to be on the attack, yet he left Josh, who blatantly works better with Wilks, on the bench really says it all for me. The bloke is clearly ****ing clueless!

He's so strong and agile, he could have put Josh on in MAGENNIS place and we'd have seen a difference...

In all seriousness there is obviously an underlying reason why this fraud of a manager/coach hasn't been sacked as yet. We can all make guesses and reasoned ones at that, but only Enob knows why .. whether its because they see being in League 1 as an affordable option while sucking the interest payments on 'loans' they've made to the club or just sat pocketing the drip feed of transfer fees coming into the club .. I have no idea .. I can only guess like the rest of us here. But given McCann's tenure and the stats he is racking up here .. the only thing certain is that this will be his last job as Head man in football for a while for sure.

We can all hope for a change of heart and the dismissal of this buffoon.. however I just can't see it happening .. why ? #askehab

We did. But just like Grant refuses to change his tactics, I think there are certain players Grant wants to play no matter what - and Coyle is one of them.

Hopefully, now I've said this, Emmanuel is back in on Wednesday.

That for me was a painful watch with the outcome more or less going to type. I never felt during the game we were going to score, and my feeling was that they would nick one and that would be that. Well, that's how it turned out.

Even though it was a better game than the Burton one, the result was the same.

I express my feeling before the game that I just didn't see a balanced team starting and that is how it turned out. You can't play Crowley and Honeyman in that formation together. As one of them will be out of their best position. If you want to play them both then it's either 442 or 352, with Crowley alongside or just behind the striker.

It does raise the question, which shouldn't even come to mind, but this team under McCann, if by some miracle gets promoted has little chance of surviving in the Championship. A lot of players under contract are just not good enough for the Championship, so what would next season be like?

Having said all that, I feel there is little chance of us getting automatic, and probably the best we can expect is the playoff's, and can McCann mastermind going up via the playoffs? I think we all know the answer to that one!

P.S. I was impressed with Fraser and Surman in midfield for them.

Good post John. They had what we desperately need and that’s players with experience that have been around the block a few times..

I think you meant 'can McCann get us in the playoffs, saying McCann and mastermind together is an oxymoron and laughable <ok>

I am sure Suzi Quatro sang "Can McCann". We should all join in the chorus.

No crowd is helping mccann, atmosphere at the end of last year would have been incredibly toxic towards him and would've turned this season tooo

I remember seeing Suzi at Withernsea pavilion.
That must have been late 70s.
Those were the days. That was by Mary Hopkin whom I only saw on telly.
Can't wait until Monday morning when he's sacked.

The trouble with Terry is the length his blips last. Seriously though he can’t keep up his usual crap that he spouts. He has one of the best squads in the league. He chose the players. He coaches the team. He chose his coaching staff. He is the head coach. Sure he has lost his captain, at least he is injured and not just jumped ship like his last two wonderful choices to lead his team. His refusal to accept responsibility for any performance, his obvious ability to throw players to the wolves rather than concentrate on his own performance is an insult to his players. One thing is for certain the only way this bloke is still in charge is purely down to the lack of supporters in the stadium. This season he won’t have Bowen and Grosiki to blame ( players again rather than himself). This fella has no ability to inspire when things are not going right. He can’t change his team, he gets outplayed and out thought. No excuses, this is about him.
