I'll sit on the fence and be happy with a draw.

0-0 it is. Fulham 10 adrift of Newcastle after today's results.

Loving all the pundits having a change of mind on Leeds Utd and Bamford Paul Merson Glen Johnson, Harry Redknapp, Mark Lawrenson all tipping Leeds to beat Arsenal and finish above Arsenal in the league.

Amazing really as they all say Arsenal have better players and Leeds using Championship players, which can only mean that Bielsa the man they have questioned all season about his tactics, proves to be a better coach than Arteta.

One loan player who is doing well, and we know will not be coming back is Barry Douglas. Douglas’s stats are off the chart according to reports, and he is providing ammunition that the Blackburn strikers are not capitalising on as much as they could. Douglas is getting rave reviews and his contract at Leeds will not be renewed so Douglas will be listening to offers. Blackburn may not be able to afford him even though they are paying most of his wages this season. He has won promotion twice to the Premier League and only 31 so maybe Blackburn might offer him a deal but if he carries on in the present formhe could end up anywhere next season.

Douglas is a really really good player. He is a better LB than Alioski. Unfortunately his body couldn't handle training under Bielsa. The odd occasion he had a run of games in the side he started to find some form but then would break down again.

I wish him all the luck in the world. It was just a case of the wrong club at Leeds. Sometimes moves don't work out and it is nobodies fault. This was the case with Douglas and Leeds.

In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday, lifelong Derby fan Morris, who turns 65 in the coming week, told this newspaper:

    • The deal to sell to Sheik Khaled is technically still ‘live’ and there remains a ‘contractual obligation’ for Morris to sell and for the Sheik to buy the club. The parties remain in dialogue;
    • His personal investment in Derby since he took control in 2015 is now ‘more than £200million’, and despite that being money he will NEVER recover, he will continue to bankroll the club until ‘a new custodian for this great club’ is in place
£200 million, what about FFP rules ?

OG Derby went fir it in a big way spending big 3 seasons onnthe bounce. They then got into financial bother and sold the stadium to Morris the owner. The gamble didnt pay off and now in serious debt.

Wendies had the same after gambling for 2 seasons and now in big trouble. Villa just got away with it but even thatnwas bent as bith teams in the play iff final were under investigation under FfFP rules. Villa and Derby and Villa got oromoted so failed to be done by the EfL. QPR got into trouble doing it and now trying to fight back slowly. Swansea another and all these teams gambled and failed, and lets be frank here if we hadnt gone up we would have had to sell players to survive again this season in the Championship.... or Radz would have had to sell tomQSI or 49ers

Exploratory talks underway between Radz and the owner of Palermo, as Radz may want to buy it as the first piece in his Leeds City Football venture. chairman Dario Mirri has put the sleeping giant up for sale and Palermo had the likes of Paulo Dybala, Edinson Cavani and many more greats in the recent past. Radz has enquired about Bari and Genoa recently as well as Valencia in Spain.

Looking like the Radz plan will start to happen before too much longer

For those interested even the owners of Barnsley also own another 4 football clubs around Europe and recently owned Nice. Part owner ofbthis football group is Billy Bean and you may know him as the guy the film Moneyball was all about.

then you get the high end groups like Man City Football group who own clubs in the MLS, France and South America. QSI who own PSG and clubs all over the world.

Its the new way of reducing costs on transfers, bending the laws on FfFP rules due to academy management and also gets around the overseas player rules. Its actually a good way to reduce costs and taxes. You van move players within the group and not classed as loans or sales/purchases. Smart is Mr Radz

Bit more bad news for Bielsa today as former Argentina President Carlos Menem has died. Bielsa took over the Argentina National job a year after Menem took office. The country was broke after years of Military rule and Junta’s and Bielsa and his team had to stay in flea pit hotels and Bielsa himself had to pay some if the bills. I think Bielsa will be upset at the news

Marcelo Bielsa’s brother Raphael was Menems Foreign Minister and was a great ally of Menem and they set about putting Argentina back on its feet. Raphael has since been in charge of other Ministries and indeed Bielsa’s sister has also been Education Minister and all part of the Perin Party so family Bielsa will be upset

That's all well and good Doc as long as you're the No'1 priority.

For example if QSI had invested and ultimately bought us then we could have ended up playing second fiddle to PSG for the forseeable.

    Good point.
Also I wonder how players and their agents feel about this?
No signing on fee for the player and no transaction fee for the agent.
Maybe it could be addressed with wages but that could also lead to another problem in the dressing room.

Well I've been known to give it back, but unfortunately there are/were posters who ran to the mods and made it their personal aim to get posters banned. For my own good I blocked this individual.<ok>
