WOW what a result, well done lads. I think Burge has redeemed himself for the earlier howler. Promotion still firmly in our hands.

A great game to watch, just shows that Doncaster played a lot better in the second half
Our stats are worse than the game against Shrewsbury.

No offence to some quality clubs and people but we just have to escape this tin pot league, its like Royston Vasey, that's the only answer.

Todays performance has to be the benchmark for the rest of the season. Difficult but possible. I saw a side who wanted it today ( and new contracts no doubt). I think we all agree O9 is a midfielder. Him, Scowen and a big physical lad (Reuben Loftus Cheek) style and I think they could hold their own in the championship.

We usually do well against teams who try and play open football against us, it's teams that sit in that causes us issues.

took me a while to decide on paying for the stream today, that first half made it value for money.

up to the 'never a penalty in a million years' incident i thought the referee had been the best all season, after that he seemed to do whatever he could to stop us getting attacks going, yet similar 'fouls' on our players were left unpunished, shame as he really did well especially that 1st 45.

was it just me or did we lose a lot of our foward momentum when power was dropped back to defend?...have to say that was an excellent first half from him also and exactly what i hoped he would bring to the team, scowen also one of his better games, defense was pretty much solid.

once again though we had a bit of a 'soppy' 5 minutes into the second half when they scored even though we actually started it quite bright, once our shape was changed though, combined with the referee deciding four goals was enough we simply seemed to invite them on...maybe the scoreline had the lads thinking the job was done but as we well know it aint over till that whistle goes.

still, well worth tuning in for the mcgeady and wyke show, i take a bow to them both for forcing a few of us to eat our words...shared MOTM!!

Enjoyed that starting midfield 3 gave us energy and got about Donny early on not letting their no 14 playmaker settle at all (they had to bring Bostock on at HT to try and create some space for him we were that effective), Wright, sanderson and McLaughlin were solid and moved the ball quickly across the back, Gooch was busy and McGeady and Wyke, well quality stuff from both.....only downside for me was McFadzean.

Great response after midweek, lads deserve credit as we are quick to tell them when they've been poor.....standards have been set

Four headed goals by Wyke, a cracking show by McGeady and a contender for the worst penalty decision given in history. Not to mention two penalties against us saved.
All in all it was well worth the money paid to watch.

Good post Sam Pitt you didn't have anything nice to say about Burge cos he gets plenty of pelters on here which usually are justified mind.
He did well today, 4-3 could have been very nervy.

The O/9 Power Scowen central mid-field looks the answer, its only one game I know, but it looks like problem solved to me. OaU
