Hopefully the locals will grow a pair and protest vehemently to the numb planks at the top of Greene king who own the pub....or if not and it goes ahead, boycott the place after....next will be the word beer !!!
My kids go to school one day and the next day is online, so only 50% of the kids are physically there each day. They have to be online as the teacher does rollcall and at any moment can ask one of the online pupils a question. It is not perfect but a very reasonable solution due to the situation. I read your post out to them, the Thursday off response was, so anyone who works on a computer should also get the day off. And they thought your idea of calling your boss telling him you were building a snowman was hilarious. I was once told that a teachers working week was 28 hours, not sure if true. They also have more holidays than any other profesion. Great post.

Update from southern Spain, The feckin bars have been closed for a month, now the ****s have decided to stop selling alcohol from 18-00 in shops. Might as well live in a commie state, ****s the lot of them. It's time to take the power back, enough is enough.

seems the feckers have seen some sense. Bars reopen tomorrow but only till 18-00. And the restriction on buying alcohol after 6 does not apply to ale.
Ours were last open on 4th November, but not to worry they'll probably reopen in JUST another 3 months! Don't know how I'd cope if it wasn't for the nice weather we're experiencing.
Don't panic lads, you won't catch a common cold or flu in this freezing weather its been eradicated by ****sock and the government
I see all the illegals have jumped the queue and been given the jab whilst being housed in the 4-star Crowne Plaza Hasn’t stopped them complaining about the food though and being given too much rice and pasta. What the ****
I wonder if the British public who return from abroad and are imprisoned for 10 days to the tune of 1750 beer tokens are given the jab like the disease ridden dinghy rats who get everything paid for by us ****ing mugs
