Off Topic Booze-free January

Feck, I couldn't give tea up. Best drink of the day (white, two sugars)

 

Gave up sugar in tea years ago. Wasn’t the reason but it tastes so much better without sugar.

Reason was I was a student and couldn’t afford both sugar and whisky. Well, there could only be one winner.

 

Booze-free Feb going well Looking to do an easy 10km on the treadmill (50 mins), followed by 10 mins on the rowing machine. Then a kip

19:57 for the 5km on the treadmill this afternoon. Flat fecking out. Buzzing, that's some personal achievement, on a par with shooting 68 at Centurion Park. Almost on a par with getting a pint off Chippy at the Earle.

Everyone still keeping “dry”? I am. ****ing killing me like as I’ve had two 4 day weekends in the last two weeks and got another one coming up this weekend (carried over leave to use up).

Gonna resist until the perbs open I reckon and I can enjoy some sweet sweet beer in the company of some good friends...it’s been wayyyyyyy too long!
