He's drinks with a recent midfield player who tells him stuff ... .... most of which I don't post because it's often ridiculous. Tbf I did laugh at him when he told me Defoe was coming weeks before it happened.
My Nan lived in number 37 since 1960 was there til she died 2018. I lived in Falmouth Sq for nearly 30 yrs until I got married. Great place to live.
I don't believe it mate, he gets his info from an ex-player and I don't see how he would know tbh. To be fair I haven't been told FPP were repaid but expect that to happen now KLD is there.
I lived in no 12 till 68 other side of the Rd did your house back onto the lockies and were you opposite Micky Coleman?
Might have been what it took for FPP to approve the takeover. That was required, right?. We might only have a day to two more for this kind of speculation.
Nan’s house was two thirds down opposite yours. The Square behind Gen havelock had a gate into the lockies/backies used to pitch a tent there when we were kids and gan Apple raiding, dare do out us Ford lads
Ditto for me, there was something amiss from day one with Donald, with hindsight everything was amiss. His tenure as majority owner ranks him as the worst owner in the history of Sunderland no one comes close in my opinion. That's some going in his short time at the club and not the legacy his ego ever desired. Hopefully with the new owner installed we can come to remember Donald more "fondly" as someone who knew he was over his head and did his best to hand the club to the best person out there willing to take on this sleeping giant of the game, warts and all.

We used to have a bonfire in there every year and loads of families turned up great times every body new everybody.
