Too much passing around not with enough urgency until the last 10-15 mins Crowley is very good but needs to release the ball earlier or look around a bit more for the easier pass , every time we keep the ball too long on the counter they are back in position
Well I think the highlights and lowlights have been captured. We dominated and did they have the best chances? As has been said we need some guile around the box and cool heads. I agree with Quill. KLP needs to improve and you lot need to slag him off more until he does
Not one shot on target. It says 8 attempts for us. Does that figure include the 2 from Potter that hit Hymers College roof
I agree, I think he's been below par now for a while, but gets more of a free pass die to being a hull boy and the contract situation
Its his first full season playing week in week out .. Bowen was the same in his first full season .. tailed off .. and I know which id rather have in my team
I can’t believe that’s the same team that played on Saturday. We’re much better than Lincoln tonight, but if we don’t score, we’ll get caught out.
Yeah, not gonna lie, this is the reason why I give Wilks, Scott and KLP more slack compared to Eaves and Magennis. The former are young lads in their early 20s with still a lot to learn and time to improve; the latter are in their late 20s/early 30s and have played at this level or even higher for a while and if they're not good enough now, they never will be.
I know which one I'd have too. Bowen. Bowen got 15 in his first 'proper' season. KLP won't get 14 this season if he carries on. He'll struggle to get 10 at this rate.
Better energy about the team and passing speed/control pleasing on the eye. However Magennis’ hold up play continues to frustrate and looks like the defender he started out as; KLP is trying for a worldie but results in greediness. Emmanuel might need to be replaced by Slater as it’s not his natural position despite his best effort. I’d give Wilks 30 minutes for Magennis.
And Bowen wasnt fkd around and put on the naughty step for not signing a contract either was he ! Bowen has gone .. we'd all love him to be here but he isn't.. get over it .. we've got what we got .. and out of the current crop KLP for me has the most potential
None of them should be 'slagged' off, but it does reek of hypocrisy because he's 'one of our own'. I think if he wasn't a Hull lad, the criticism would be there.
I think KLP is just trying too hard to be the hero.... as the song goes 'dont push it, dont force it'...
