This is the team I'd pick. A diamond formation means we're not sticking players like Crowley on the wing where they can't do much.
That would be a massive u turn by McCan't after stubbornly sticking to 2 wide attackers ever since he joined us! But fair play for having a go. I think he has to decide whether he wants to play Honeyman or Crowley .... unless he's prepared to play Honeyman as one of his 2 defensive midfielders along with Doc in his 4 2 3 1 (which I don't think he will) then Crowley can take the central AM role in the 3. I expect he'll stick to 4 2 3 1 or 4 3 3, with square pegs in round holes.
I reckon you've got this about right. Time Ingram was brought back in. No reason to leave him out in the first place.
I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I think long has more technical ability but Ingram more steady mentally. Drops fewer bollocks in the heat of combat.
Frankly, and I know he won't change, but with the players, we have available 352 should be the lineup. Ingram Burke McLouglin Greaves Emmanuel Docherty Slater Honeyman Elder KLP Magennis We need to win the midfield and do something different. We are too predictable now, good coaches like Appleton will outmanoeuvre Terry.
****ing charming is that.. I deleted it weeks ago!,we should be able to use the team card points,I'm sick of buying overpriced tat from tl!!!!
Don’t disagree with your team John but I do on good coaches outmanoeuvring Terry. Many coaches have done Terry this season and last not just the good ones. Terry is an arrogant self centred inflexible coach who prefers to always blame his players rather than take responsibility himself. He is easy to out think and out fight.
Predicted team Long Elder, Burke, Greaves, Coyle Doc Honeyman, Crowley Wilks, Magennis, KLP It might be Slater in for Crowley/Honeyman. Or it might be Wilks through the middle & Honeyman/Crowley on one of the wings to get Slater to start. It all depends on what he learnt from last week. I think Lincoln will win 0 - 2/3
Well said George Midfielder George Honeyman says Hull City must find ways to break down teams who defend deep. The Tigers only registered seven attempts in the 1-0 defeat against struggling Burton Albion, with none on target. Hull City remain the division’s joint-second highest scorers with 41, but Honeyman knows there are areas to work on. “We maybe just struggle a little bit against teams who sit in,” Honeyman said. “As a team, we maybe need to move the ball a little bit quicker. “Our quality wasn’t good and it’s tough to put your finger on why that was. “The problem we’ve had, and it’s become a bit contagious, is when we are having a bad performance, it seems to seep through the team. “We need to figure out teams a bit better when they put the low block on us and sit in. “We’ve got to move the ball quicker as a team and not everyone try to find that killer pass. You’ve got to keep it going, trust in people when they’ve got a man behind them and lend them the ball. “Teams will not be able to defend if we keep moving the ball from side to side with a tempo for the majority of the game. “We need to figure that out as a team and when we get into the final third, maybe it’s a bit more composure we need.” The 26-year-old was frustrated to leave the Pirelli Stadium empty-handed and says his team need to grind out results when not at their best. “It wasn’t a good performance – we were off it in all departments,” Honeyman admitted. “That can sometimes happen over the course of a long season and it’s important to dig it out and come away with a point. “That’s probably the most disappointing thing (that the team weren’t able to). “Our quality in the final third, as a team, was really poor. “To get sucker-punched at the end was a real kick in the teeth and that’s something we’ve got to get better at. “When we’re not quite there, we’ve still got to come away with a share of the spoils. “It’s been disappointing a couple of times now we’ve played teams lower down in the league and come away with nothing and that’s something we’ve got to put right. “If our quality isn’t there for some reason, on any given day, (we need to) make sure we grind it out, get the draw, get a point and get home.” There is no time for the Tigers to feel sorry for themselves, with leaders Lincoln City visiting the KCOM Stadium tomorrow evening. And Honeyman is determined to make amends after the Burton disappointment. “We’ve got a really good game on Tuesday to put it right,” he added. “It was a big game before, it’s a bigger game now. You couldn’t ask for a better game to come on Tuesday.”
I’d be confident of a positive result if Terry mixed things up and adopted a different formation. He won’t, so I think it’s a defeat unfortunately.
The club said to use the code given out in December 2020. If your device has deleted it, you will have to e-mail, codes @hullcitytigers.com. I did and got the code re-issued. Hope this helps.
I think if we get well beat and there’s evidence the players have given up or not playing for him he’s gone.
