I hadn't been on RTG for a little while, so thought I'd dip into it this morning, thinking it would be OK after a 0-3 away win. But nothing changes.

For every positive or sensible post there is always someone to pop up and have a go. Just full of idiots now.

On the very first thread 'Saturday' from Dodgy, who's a great poster, puts up his opinion of how the team should look.

The first response is from a relentless troll who can't just be a pessimist, he's always straight on pulling people down and trying to derail the thread.

I really don't understand why these people seem to be trying to ruin a forum they spend so much time on.

 

My ban runs out tonight.

It's probably not worth going back though. Very few people worth speaking to left these days.

 

Still good for a laugh at times, check out the Wyke thread, TravellingMackem is getting pulled to bits for talking pure **** calling Wyke, some of his comments are comical but he keeps trying to defend them.
It really is a **** forum for logical conversations though you can laugh at some very silly muppets

 

There's something strange going on over there.

Another mate was banned for complaining, via the report button, about Kildare who's swamping the place with the same relentless defence of Donald and Methven. There has to be some kind of link, it can't all just be because he creates clicks.

 

Eventually they'll drive away all the interesting posters who generated the volume of traffic for them in the first place. It'll be all the WUMs and nutters going round and round in circles.

 

That bloke is an arrogant know all. I was reading one of his posts on COVID when he was getting torn to shreds by a couple of other posters. He refuses to concede in any debate. He is one big headed bastard. I dont get involved in any of his posts any more

 

I don't think Kildare is either Methven or Donald, but I do think it's someone close to one or both of them. The lousey spelling is just a pathetic attempt to hide his real identity, it just looks so deliberate that it can't be mistakes. What his end game is, I haven't a clue. He'd get more respect if he was a genuine contact by being open about who he is and might actually get people sticking up for him.

 

Some of his responses, to club workings, are too quick to be Googled or whatever.

He's regularly attacked by a dozen people and just ploughs on.

If he wasn't sure of his 'facts' he'd trip himself up a lot more ...

... it's interesting to watch, like a Punch & Judy show, but makes the forum hard work if you pop over to see if there's owt new.

I wouldn't say it definitely is but, having met him a few times, wouldn't say it definitely isn't.

With my memory I would forget most Fridays or bore people to death with repeated posts I do remember you getting me into Playing for Change when you posted a You Tube clip a few years ago though.

 

Good stuff that was, some good musicians that would be booed offstage on X-Factor

 

Proper musicians Smug It's still pretty good but in my opinion lost a bit of it's heart by using "famous" musicians instead of street musicians.
