Power is an absolute liability imo.

If we’re going up it’ll be via the play-offs.

We are still far to slow in all three departments, we now have quicker players for all these positions, they need to play from the start.

Disappointed but much better than a loss and showed a fight back.
A win on any other day maybe.
Still in touch with 2nd place.
I'm hoping for that click too.
    Signs are there.
    I'm still optimistic :emoticon-0148-yes:

Sneaked? Wyke (2) Power, Geads (2) with good chances. So we should’ve won it by a comfortable margin on chances alone

He looked ok at first back there but has slowly descended to the level of performance we’re used to from him in midfield!

    In isolation ...

... we drew away to a team who've lost twice in the last 5, as have Hull who are 2nd.

We scored twice, from open play, and were denied an obvious penalty.

    I'm disappointed but optimistic ...

... we have players settling into a system I believe will be successful.

And they didn’t help much with the first. We’re not leaking goals at a massive rate but if LJ could pick a back 4 and keep them fit then confidence will grow for them and the keeper. Things are looking good at the other end so hopefully just a few more games and we’ll see things become more consistent.

I get what you're saying mate, but this season is similar to our first season down here - we are difficult to beat, but far too many draws.

Johnson needs to suss out his most effective eleven asap, and stick with it. Playing two in the middle of the park is okay if both of those are mobile, and for that reason I would have O'Nien and Scowen in there. Leads is better on the ball, but needs two around him to do the donkey work. This system doesn't allow for that.

I agree that we need to be braver.

I like Leadbitter but L1 isn't for him, we need players like Winchester, Scowen, O'Nien, etc, who'll disrupt the opposition.

We need brute force in defence, industry in midfield and skill upfront.

I agree that they are partly to blame, but Burge should be expected to do better with the first one surely.

It’s the draws that will define our season. 11 is 3 times more than the top 4 teams, if we’d won half of those we’d be top of the league.

@Smug in Boots you are an absolute top poster, can’t agree on everything though mate. The quicker we get out of this league the better.

We're all frustrated mate, just have to believe ... this squad is good enough to win any game.
