May I ask whom gave it to you and for what? Or how you got it?

It's a larger than real life model of a human heart. My middle daughter made it back in 2018 as part of her A Level portfolio and it reflects the fragility of the heart and how it needs to be nurtured and protected, hence it resting on the bed of feathers and the barbed wire. The inspiration? Me of course, or rather my heart bypass the previous summer. <laugh>

It's predominantly paper mache type stuff (modroc) with the arteries old bits of garden hose and smaller tubes, which she then painted ... the progress pics of it in the making are really good too.

It keeps me grounded and reminds me to make the most of life <cheers>
