No, they would just break away and form a super league. But they are at the very pinnacle of the league structure whereas we are down in the **** heap and are stuck in with clubs who's peak of ambition is playing a big club relegated from the championship or in a cup game. I don't blame them for lack of ambition, not every club has the blessing we have, of a location that gives them a big fan base. Indeed, having experienced the life of a League 1 also ran, I applaud those supporters of clubs with a small fan base. Like you I think that a club should be allowed to spend whatever income you generate, or your owner is willing to put in. The trouble is the EFL and a majority of the clubs in our league don't agree with us.
Puts me in mind of an old classic. Woman says 'Do you know, in 50 years of marriage you've only said you love me once.' Husband says 'Yes, on our wedding day and I said I'd let you know if that situation ever changes'. Enough people, like Magnus & Prehab, have insisted there's nothing to worry about but some won't believe it until it's on the club website .... .... perhaps where they should be looking tbh.
I thought loans could still be agreed, Premier League to lower leagues?? I may be completely wrong however.
I wonder when it's officially announced which poster on rtg will be the first to create a thread saying "fake news"
Basically saying we pay a little bit higher fee, they give that to the the outgoing player we are signing and that’s up front money with less wages per week, that’s the way around the wage cap!
Agree with that mate, even they could just post "Today", similar to a Christmas Eve post. After the ****e that @Prehab26 has had, I would like it to be him tbh.
It's all good mate. Don't you worry about me. Had plenty of victories in all go this. Think the Christmas eve was one of the main ones. I have been told not to worry about this takeover and that's what I have said to you lot on here. No dramas.
