    I admire your optimism. However I remember a bloke in a services on the way to Wembley for the leauge cup final telling people he needed to sit down and couldn't stop shaking because a Sunderland story was on page 73. I for one believe it was the drink.

    If the EFL are delaying approval while wanting proof of shareholder funds from Donald and Methven does that put in doubt information that people have been given on takeover details/ progress? A lot of people have said EFL all sorted when i guess that is still not the case?

    There are still the charges by FPP unsatisfied as of today against Sunderland Association Football Club Ltd and Madrox which would suggest that the loan facility has not been satisfied..

    Errr... I do not know anything about EFL, Donald, %s and ability to fund the club.

    But I do have an inkling he was at the Gillingham game and is in the NE today. Obviously the young man has a bob or two and can use private planes to fly in and out...obeying quarantine laws of course

    Is the qualification to work for the EFL to not have a single f*ckin brain cell? Their offices must be full of Mags!

    If they feel they should start making decisions to justify their own existence, they're too late. They should have done that at the end of last season instead of letting the clubs decide to cancel it. Now it seems, they are not willing to let individual clubs run themselves. F*ckin pond life!

    If they intend to do this with Sunderland, they should also do it to every other club with multiple shareholders. There's nothing stopping any majority shareholder in any club from just paying 'his percentage' to the upkeep. Why just single us out?
