    The Labour Party hate Britain.
Anything at all, they, like the BBC will find fault, in even the most positive of news.
Brexit and the Covid vaccine roll out are the most recent examples.
Yesterday topped the lot when Starmer couldn't remember his comments about wanting to stay last summer in the EU pan European acquisition of vaccine.
The government have made many errors during this pandemic and excess deaths have been the result. However this is an unprecedented pandemic so I have a degree of understanding for their failures. What I can say is they have tried their level best, OK mistakes along the way, but they have tried. What a contrast to Starmer, Ashworth and the BBC an Co. Continual carping.
It will be years before the next General Election, I won't forget or forgive Captain Hindsight.

Will this help the cause for integration amongst us? Capt Tom raised tens of millions for an NHS that is for all. Seeing invisible boogeymen everywhere is a sign of poor mental health. People can choose not to be vengeful. This person may need help.

That is what woke slacktivists do - cancel culture.

The man has caused offence but no crime has been committed. The liberty to criticise, to cause offence, have differing views is indivisible from democracy, or was. Freedom of expression for arses (or not) should always be part of our tolerant UK.

Presumably he'll be at the front of the queue to pull down any statue of Captain Tom that gets erected which has been suggested.
He needs an extra lose dose of humility and to be sacked from his job, because if it was the other way around you can bet your ass he would be.

Having lived in France, the separation of church and state in 1910 is one of it's redeeming features and should have been enacted here in the UK, the church IMHO has no place in politics.

As virtually a lifelong atheist, my views were formulated even though like many of my age group was made to go to Sunday school, as a 5 year old I had to watch my dad (who I thought was indestructible) turn into a broken man when the catholic church refused to allow him to take communion at his mothers funeral, because of the ultimate sin of marrying a protestant.

This man has caused offence but worst of all has added more fuel to an already highly inflammable situation, that is not his job, he should be preaching understanding or better still kept his thoughts to himself.

Good job too - and good riddance to him.
A disgrace to his religion - and his colour.

My opening post indicates that the Labour Leader knows the left need to move away from where it is. The Labour party that has become riddled with identity politics and wokedom is unelectable. They are losing. By not taking part in their culture war and upholding freedom of expression for all they lose more.

Strangely coming on a day when Lenny Henry says he doesn't like the word diversity, so expect the word to be expunged from the Oxford dictionary soon.

Isn't there a dance troupe called Diversity?, that's them f***** then.

The same as Lyle Taylor being told he cant even call himself Mixed Race (or half caste as we innocently used to call it) but now has to refer to himself as being of Dual Heritage
What a total load of crap.
