What can I say. I’ve always been a realistic and never a dreamer. It’s a character flaw.

If it looks like **** and smells like ****, I still have to poke my finger in it to make sure it’s ****!

Seeing as these two miserable ****s are using old statements

I would like to thank the Newcastle United Supporters’ Trust and all Newcastle fans for their incredible backing and huge efforts over the past few days and beyond. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.I would like to thank the Newcastle United Supporters’ Trust and all Newcastle fans for their incredible backing and huge efforts over the past few days and beyond. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Speaking on behalf of myself and my husband, the Reuben family and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, we are not just overwhelmed by your support, we are humbled by it.

Our group has received emails and messages in the thousands and I can’t begin to tell you what that means to us. We do not take it for granted.

We understand that a strong Supporters’ Trust means a strong Newcastle.

And we understand and have seen again just how powerful and beautiful a united Newcastle can truly be.

So what you're saying is, you don't know. Chippy always prefers a brief summary.

In summary, nobody knows, but likeliest scenario based on available evidence is that it’s not happening.

The we is her and her husband: this basically reaffirms there’s no takeover.

    This can be answered easily.

Legal action. It is NOT Ashley after compensation. The case is NUFC v PL. NUFC cannot sue the PL for loss because it almost impossible to prove. How much would NUFC lose due to a failed takeover. Economic loss is notoriously difficult to establish.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

Legal action can only be forcing through a takeover. In order for a takeover to be a possibility there must be a willing buyer. Staveley and Reubens aren't buying us alone. So that leaves a third party. It can't be an alternative, otherwise legsl action wouldn't be necessary. That leaves only one entity - PIF.

Their statement says withdrawn. Legal action suggests that they are back. They can change their mind? Especially if they have been given legal advice confirming the likelihood of success.

Again, if PIF has withdrawn, why are NUFC going through arbitration?

    Subjective interpretation.

Bottom line only a handful of people know being those involved (or not involved and would have to be involved) in any arbitration and/or takeover and/or compensation claim.

Actually it looks to me like they tried, failed, Ashley threatened legal which was supposed to conclude
It, this also failed, then staveley put this out.

Not if Mike has a legal bill for £3m after an indication from the league that it would be a formality. Pretty easy to put a value on that.

Which is Mike Ashley's bill not NUFC's. Ashley cannot sue the PL using their arbitration. He would need to go to the high court and sue for misrepresentation.

    2. That statement
    3. Jason burt reports they returned
    4. Mike ashley officially launched legal claim

Ashley wouldn't accept his "expenses and legal fees" as compensation.

If PL accept he's entitled to that then they are accepting liability and he could sue for losses which would be old sale price less new sale price which as we were overpriced could be substantial. PL wouldn't agree to accept liability with that as a possibility. And Ashley wouldn't limit his claim either.

Demarco likes to reminisce an old win before announcing the next.
