That's great hon! Okies, i'm going to set one up :)...anyone can join! I have 3 stone to lose (honest!)..so really not skinny lol but like you, it's the inches, and a few off would be lovely! Target, 3 stone...but i doubt i'll reach it and to be honest, i'd be happy with 2, 3 is pushing it lol.

that all sounds great though :)...are you up for starting Monday? ;)

Sounds good to me, we can all help each other and encourage one and other. I only need to get to 12stone, but need to loose about 5-6 inches around my belly. I have a beer belly at 20 even though i dont drink!!!

I went on the Wii today for 1 1/2 hours which was good fun, but yeah monday will be the true start.

Im sure you can achieve what ever goal you set yourself!! You have a strong will and thats a big part of it. Also you are in charge of what your family eat for dinner so that helps.

Thanks hon...you're right, planning does help..and i'm in charge of what i buy, trouble is, i buy all the wrong things lol.

Good luck with yours! :)...it'll be fun to do it together :)

Yeah, i seem to end up spending £10-20 at the co-op on junk. But no more of that!! The family know i am doing this and will help stop that.

It will be good fun and will be nice to have a diet buddy.

Good luck with yours too, not that you will need it. Im sure it will just fall off!

Yep, though diets aren't cheap, all that fresh fruit and veg lol....but it's much healthier..so it's all good :) Great that your family is supporting you...but if you need to ask anything, ask away..i'm an expert!

Dieting with someone else is always good..though men lose quicker than women..so wait for me to catch up! lol

I hope so hon...it seems to fall on quick enough! lol

The issue i have is we dont have regimented meals and i am a fussy eater. I dont eat a lot of fruit, and because me and my sister are out several nights a week we dont get good food, its usually something quick from the freezer or a take-away. But this will change somehow. Also it is only my belly and moobs which are the issue, i cant work my legs overly much as they are muscle and the bigger they get the more i weigh but not due to fat, which defeats the object.

But on that note i will call it a night, maybe that will help. Not going to bed at 3am!

Nite nite sleep tight sweet dreams. I hope the baking goes well

Good luck with the weight losses guys and girls. Its always good to have support in these things. I weighed myself yesterday and I was a little surprised by what it said. I've got the opposite issue at the moment, I've lost a little too much weight so I want to put on a bit. One of those annoying people... although I put on over a stone when I was in France (too much ham, cheese and patisseries!) but then I had a difficult year and lost it again and some more. If i'm stressed I can't eat. Looking forward to my chili con carne tonight.

That's more like it, BBW...I do like to be amused! What has happened to the bear in the cellar? Is he hibernating? And the penguin steaks don't seem to be available any more.

Afternoon all, A wet morning here, lots of jobs to do outside that are now on hold. The depressing weight loss thread has had me finding the scales again and it didn't make happy reading. Not wishing to complain, but everytime I go to England I put on weight and then spend months trying to remove it. Since February I have managed to lose half a stone without trying too hard, but I know that pub meals will put it back on again. <yikes>

Mme tells me that the reason I put it on is due to excessive amounts of red liquid that is cheap and perfectly good. Seeing as she drinks far less than I do, I wonder why she is losing the battle faster than I am? ;)

Afternoon all - very mild day in bandit country, although it lashed it down in the night....back to the loft in a minute for another couple of hours of clearing. But I have been warned off the far end of the loft - it's the corner where all the baby stuff is, cots, Moses Baskets, baby toys, christening gowns etc. I am staying well clear. One of the reasons for the clear out is that number 1 son is moving out at the end of the month, he is renting a cottage with his GF and I am sorting out the boxes to pack up his critical items i.e. 42" LCD, X Box, Sky HD Box, Surround Sound system, PC...etc etc

Some cracking news this morning, Little Miss W_Y passed her training programme and has got a job with the Olympic Broadcasting Services next summer. She is over the proverbial...a great opportunity and will look so good on her CV

Well that's more crap sorted - 1 FM tuner, another CD player, 2 car radios, 1 FM/AM tuner (I remember buying that at that HiFi shop on the corner just up from The Junction in 1979!), 2 CB sets and yet more books.....

Next job is to crack on with the vinyl collection....
