Embleton going on loan is a surprise to me. I think he has provided a good option off the bench bringing a go forward mentality. Interesting decision...
if they are thinking of selling him it must bang his fee up showing what he an do, and may turn our gaffers head into keeping and playing him each week if he takes full advantage of his chance
I totally get it tbh. He's like a Catholic prick teaser ... ... looks great, promises a lot but doesn't deliver when the chips are down.
Aye I said the other week he needed to step up and hasn’t, it’s more extend his contract and send him out. Kind of move a PL club does with a prospect, not a flagging 3rd tier club with a 21 year old who hasn’t made a mark on a piss poor league.
Agree they did nothing for us , why keep them as they are probably among the best paid at the club if not in the full EFL1 we are well rid .
I'm being honest now mate ... ... I'd have taken Graham leaving over a winning goal on Saturday. We need to get people like him as far away from the club as possible so the new lads never have to dee him dragging his arse around the AOL. I hope he never plays again, blows his money and ends up shagging Paul Gascoigne for a room to sleep in.
Tbh I expected 2 strikers and an attacking midfielder to leave today, and they have. It was just Embo instead of Maguire. Which is weird that it now feels we are a little short. We probably aren’t. I think that’s just normal deadline day wishful thinking. Overall a cracking window.
Maybe we are thinking Embleton and Grigg can do more damage to our promotion rivals playing week in week out for other teams.
He's the footballing equivalent of Heather Mills ... ... looks good but half arsed and a chip on his shoulder.
