Rodrigo doesn't overly concern me, either Klich or Hernandez are more than good enough for us not to lose too much. Raph - big miss if he is out. Best signing for me. The worrying thing is MB has brought Costa on in both of the last two and he looks lost. Not sure if his confidence is shot because the same thing happened to him at Wolves and it is a real shame because he started this season much better. The slight mystery is why not Poveda? Bielsa kept trying him in all sorts of games - has he lost patience with him because now would be when we really would need him. Knowing MB he will probably bring Klich and Hernandez back and play Dallas right wing, don't think he has played there yet this season!

We have turned down an approach from Swansea for young striker Sam Greenwood. As someone said on FB let’s tell them we accept then pull out of the deal at 10.59pm

Bielsa said Rodrigo is having a scan on his leg and at the press conference he didn’t seem concerned over Raphinha or Bamford, he didn’t say they’d be fit our next game but equally he didn’t rule either out

 

Poveda has done himself a mischief in the under 23's game. Looking more and more likely we might need Costa to start against Everton....

 

Think Raphinah will be ok for Everton and looking at the set up of the 23s today Im betting Roberts plays in place of Rodrigo at 10, as Roberts played the first half hour there today. Greenwood got an hour there but Gelhardt played all 90 as striker today. No sign of Pablo so he could also be a starter against Everton?

Poveda has a serious ankle injury which could be ligament damage by the looks. He was in agaony and had to be helped off.

 

Jay-Roy Grot has joined Vfl Osnabruck on a permanent deal. That puts an end to and hope he would “do a Klich”

Think Raphinha starts alongside Klich on Wednesday. Then the rest remaings the same and roberts will be bench alongside Greenwood in the absence of Poveda.

Rodrigo has just posted an update on Instagram after having his scan....

“A minor setback personally but already working to be back soon. One day less to come back.”

 

Seems Leeds did try and sign Brest LB Romain Perraud but they refused and gave the lad a new contract until 2025. That however means that the price has now gone up and Leeds will need to offer more in the Summer. Seemingly Southampton want him too but I expect Orta/Bielsa to get their man. His stats are impressive for a LB, goals, assists, dribbles, runs and passing plus defending of course.
