Good signing happy with that. There’s a good core of local talent in and around the first team. That’s definitely a positive.
Than I am surprised a EFL Championship team didn't take a punt on him, finances in the championship must be getting very tight!
I think if we go up, then we look to sign him on a long term deal. If we don't go up, then he can showcase his skills and talents to other teams and get his fitness back up to scratch. I think everyone wins with this deal.
Surely that places him above Elder, unless he's not fully match fit. Also is Fleming injury worse than reported?
Clark's deal is a short-term contract until the end of the season, his deal at Vitesse has been mutually terminated.
He hasn't been in Vitesse's match day squad for this season apart from 2 unused sub appearances, so he will need to get his fitness levels back up.
Hmmm....assuming Fleming must be out for a fair while as it'll take him a while to get back to fitness, bit of an odd one, in that Elder has nailed down that starting position, but a short term works for both parties, decent back up for us and he can get himself fit prove himself and either get a deal here or somewhere else. I've no idea why it went so tits up for him at Vitesse, was it all to do with Sluts leaving?
Decent signing, local lad with something to prove and at a guess he will have jumped at the chance to come home. He's coming as cover, get himself match fit and hopefully earn himself a full time contract or a move to another club. If' we'd have signed no-one and then suddenly lost Elder to injury or suspension the club would have been hung drawn and quartered and accused of being cheap skates.
