Three great saves by Kasper denying Harrison, Bamford and Raphinha I don’t see how we’re lucky to be honest? The games a bit scrappy they’re pressing us well but as in good chances we’re edging it
Harrison can be so annoying twice now he’s kicked it out when crossing it into the danger zone looked an easier option
We've looked more solid since Rodrigo went off. I think Bielsa also told Phillips to stop holding hands with Cooper and Struijk and move forward 5 yards. Consequently, after the 25 minute mark we have looked alot better. 1-1 is a fair reflection thus far. Don't want to jinx him but I am more impressed with Struijk every time I see him play. Very composed for a kid in his first full season as a starter at this level. I'd say he is our best centre back this season.
Decent first half. Even game, both sides pressing and getting really tight making it hard for the opposition but some good play in between.
In the last championship for women it was decided that all refs and linesman was going to be femals. Why is that ok and not the other way around?
I just went to have a look at the Leicester match day thread but it’s pretty dead over there. When we used to play them in the Championship I vaguely remember their fans joining in en masse on match days, seems they’ve all vanished
As long as the women referees pass the same physical criteria as the male referees then I have no problem with it. I would like all referees to be quicker though. The gap in fitness between the players and officials is currently too big.
I've no idea, but given that she has been an official for Premier League games, since 2011, I don't have a problem with her being part of this game.
We've made a habit of dipping in performance in the second halves recently. Hopefully we can maintain it today and get something out of this.
