Thing that excites me most by Jones (and Vokins to a lesser extent) is think how many an in form Wyke is going to get with constant delivery into the box from pacey and attacking wide men.
Suits with the instructions to get across the near post hes clearly getting from LJ as hes mentioned it in a few interviews. Higher quality delivery should equal more opportunities
I like him but I can imagine the data is horrendous. You can realistically only afford to carry 1 player and Mcgeady for me all day.
I asked about Maguire. The response was, 'do you think there's any chance Lee Johnson would deliberately go out to sign him?' I had to admit that was the end of the conversation
Got to go along with that. Thanks for the few memories, see ya later Chris. Wonder if Oxford want him where a certain supporter can try to get him in
Might be harsh, and he’s done nothing wrong at all. But when I look back at this dreadful period he’s going to be one of the first players that symbolise it. It’s just an unfortunate fact that he was our first signing down here and it was basically because he was Donald’s favourite player. And he symbolises our league one form. Occasionally brilliant but almost always completely harmless but anonymous.
He needs shifting tbh he has 1 good game in 6 or 7 and that type of player isn't good enough if we want to finish top 2
Highlighted by data, does this mean as a weak area we need to improve or that it has highlighted a striker to move for? Although I know it's allowing us to get into the modern way of doing things and about time, I do not fully understand quite how much they can do with it. Need to get moneyball from rtg (think that was the poster) to come and post on here about it, was an interesting reading his posts on data analytics.
It was said 'why buy Winchester when we have other similar players'. The difference is that Winchester will give everything in every game. That will allow the likes of Gooch, O'Nien, Diamond, etc, to shine. If Maguire wasn't up for it he was a drain on the other players.
