They've all got a price no matter who, it's a global business more than ever....one club players are a fantasy now
Jammy, you should know by now that if a player wants to leave, he will. The one that worries me is Raphinha. He would be a perfect fit for the bin dippers & I'm sure that's not lost on them.
I see your point lads about every player having a price, that's business. And I agree, but this year we have to be extra carefull, it's not so easy to sign non British players, thank brexit for that. On the other hand British players are probably even more valued, KP being top of the list!
Este, Este, Este I am shocked that you think its harder thanks to Brexit, seeing as you actually should know.obviously didnt read my weekend piece a few weeks ago where I clearly logged all the stages of the process, which makes it easier mate. The players we will be going after will all have earned enough points to qualify for a work permit
You won’t get anyone wanting to buy Roberts at that price. Realistically, the only players we might be able to sell for enough money to “strengthen the squad” are KP and Raphinha.
Doc I read all your posts as you talk sense and have great views on the U23s. Have a look at this link: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55803504 Maybe our academy could be a very valuable asset.
If Brewster & McBurnie are worth £20M then our Tyler would be a steal at that price, don't ya think ?
It's the way things should be in my opinion. Signing U18's from all over Europe and affecting their lives too much by dragging them away from family & friends, education etc is wrong. Sign the local or UK lads and if those from other countries are good enough then they'll end up here eventually anyway.
They're all worth 30 bob & a lucky rabbit's foot. Sorry, I'm exaggerating. That should have been pence, not shillings.
