    ... promise.

By the end February we'll know where we are ...

... play-offs, top two, season voided and Wycombe relegated.

Doncaster is the key for me, I think we can at least draw the others. I've said we can go the rest of the season unbeaten which I believe, we're becoming a horrible awkward team to beat with a decent squad and good players coming back. Im going for 15 points by the end of February.

    Gillingham - 3
    MK Dons - 3
    Shrewsbury - 1
    Doncaster - 1
    Burton - 3
    Fleetwood - 3
    Crewe - 1

I think we will go on a good run now. I think we will beat Shrewsbury, Gillingham and MK Dons.

Hopefully a few additions are incoming with a bit of deadwood heading out to freshen things up.

We have won the last two games with 2 clean sheets and two goals. Long may it continue, BUT, only scoring one goal means only one slip up or the opposition has a bit of luck... then like so many games this season we have a draw.

So more goals 2 or 3 per game then we will not draw or lose so many.

If we can get another striker and creative,/ goal scoring midfielder in... then I will rate our chances much higher to get in play offs or please god, automatic promotion. There is a lot of the season still left.

I went through all the remaining fixtures after last nights game. I gave up after I tallied up 90 odd points out of the remaining fixtures, jumped straight into a hot shower to wash away the bad ju ju.

I'm not going to try and predict the next few games as I always end up disappointed ala Plymouth.

You'd have been disappointed with Plymouth in any case though.

Ha. True. And I was. But if I predict 12 points and end up with 6 I'm doubly disappointed if that's even a thing.

I'm not really superstitious except with Sunderland, then I am rediculously so.
I don't put match day predictions because of this but have voted a win for us last two matches.
I figured I was just being daft.
I have no sway on the outcome and if I did, best to form a positive opinion imo,
So being superstitious makes no difference really.

So I'll keep voting on games.
    Keep me lucky black cat.
And me lucky Sunderland towel etc etc <laugh>

We need to address our home form, but if we can do that, then we will go up imo.

I will take your 15 and up it to 17. I fancy us to beat Donny.

I think the Doncaster game will be a good game from what I've seen of them. If we could beat them I'd be very optimistic about going up. We've seen how, in this league, teams have periods when they go on a great run then falter for no apparent reason, Portsmouth have gone to pieces recently.

When they beat Hull, at Christmas, they were 7 points ahead of us and looked unstoppable. They're now 7 points off top and only 2 ahead of us.

That's in a month which is why I'm speculating on the upcoming month for US. A win on Saturday would really give us momentum and confidence which can make all the difference.

Confidence and momentum look impossible when you're struggling ...

... but unstoppable when you have them.
