Used to go out with a girl who was originally from Ipswich so used to go to all the away games down there (often in the home end as her Brother was an ipswich fan!) Portman Brothel was what we used to call it as, from around 11pm, it was prostitute central in Ipswich!!
cheers again RTB... i am currently not even fussed about being entertained but hoping for that bit of improvement once again...just score 5 goals and force them to come at us and we should scrape a win
Once he settles in I think he'll be another O'Nien, I really do. We're moving towards a team with real running and guile in it imo. Scowen is an asset as well, ran his socks off on Saturday ... ... we need to be able to rotate as there are lots of matches coming up. If we go into the play off games I think we'll be well placed with our squad.
Like the look of this team and shape an awful lot more than Saturday's. Mind you I'm still not convinced on O'Brien. Prove me wrong tonight fella.
4/4/2 would be my choice but if that's a front three I'm not sure about it at all, and looks a bit unbalanced to me. The bench could be interesting.
As we all keep saying, none of the L1 teams are that good, we can get above them all if we really really try very hard ....
First game of the season away, Mccoist debut came off the bench iirc. We were 3-1 up only to be pegged back to 3-3. Memorable day. Bus load from Stanley set off early doors on the Friday and stayed in Great Yarmouth for the night b4. 40 of us arrested and an identity parade along the sea front as we'd been accused of nicking a 'kiss me quick hat' from one of the stalls. Memories.
