Good news Matthew. Club rivalry is fine but something like this and some of the less good news on your board puts everything into some sort of perspective. I'm having a PSA blood test in February. No problems that I'm aware of but as I was offered due to my age and a different recent health issue it would be rude to refuse. Get it done loads, it's only a little prick (in the arm), it won't hurt - much!!!
Cheers Blue ,I agree football is football and that's where it should stay . Hope it goes well and you'll be fine .If at anytime you want to have any advice (not that you're going to need it ) feel free to pm me
Worth having it done, as if there is something detected early, treatment is so much easier for all. Most men don't know that by the time man reaches the age of eighty, 8 out of 10 men will get prostrate cancer. Most coloured men, or should I say black, are twice as likely to get it. This morning I had my 3monthly injection for prostrate. Which was discovered when I fell and smashed my Hip nearly 3years ago..........The last letter from the Hospital said that they were pleased to inform me that it was now almost undetectable........ worth having a blood test every year and detect anything in early stages. I hope I am not talking out of order, Hope everything is o.k
Great news for you as well Victor , us oldies (well in my case relative to some on here) are made of sterner stuff.
